Prior to my mindfulness course I had been feeling increasingly unwell and out of control with my life. I have a stressful job and was working silly hours, getting nowhere and unable to switch off.
I must admit it felt very strange at first spending an hour 1:1 with a stranger face to face! However the more I practiced the easier it became and as I built a relationship with Tim, it was no longer uncomfortable. Tim is a very compassionate man with tremendous emotional intelligence, he has the ability to empathise with many problems and situations.
Just before my last session I had a major set back and this delayed it somewhat. However despite not being able to go out and face life I continued to practice mindfulness. I believe that this was a huge factor in my recovery. I have now completed the course and feel great.
I would recommend this to anyone and have actually provided it for someone in my work place.
